Fccu organize debate
According to the details, sociological society of Forman Christian College( a charted university) held debates on the differences and similarities between the provincial cultures of Pakistan under the supervision of president SSF Sajid Majeed,and advisor Athar Azeem in room# 25.
The event was started at 11.00 with the recitation of Holy Quran.
Mr. Furqan Mushtaq was the representatives of province Punjab,Asif Saeed(Sindh), Sbayhaq (Baluchistan),Riaz Akbar(Gilgit Battistan),Muhammad Hassan(Khyber Pakhtoonkha).They all gave various suggestions.

A young boy die before his marriage
Lahore;14, May : A lad perished one week before his marriage ceremony in gulshan-e-ravi due to naked electricity shock here on Friday.
Mr waqas who was standing on his roof ,suddenly his hand touched to the naked electricity wires and he lost his life on the spot .He was the student of MBA and was going to be married after few days .His mother lost her senses at the spot and taken to suriya azeem hospital.He was only 21 years old and youngest one in the family .
People all over the locality started morning on this dismal loss.

FCCU Held Vasakh Film Festival

Lhr; May, 20: Third Annual Vasakh Documentary Film Festival held from 18th to 20th may at Forman Christian College.
According to the details 3rd Annual Vasakh Documentary Film Festival was held at S009 at Fc College. Mass Communication Department of the Fccu held this festival with the cooperation of Interactive Resource Center. It was started on 18 of May and ended on 20th of May. 18th and 19th were the documentaries screening days from 11am to 4pm. Award ceremony was on the 20th of May at Night. Documentaries on the different social, economic, educational issues were being portrayed in the festival. Famous documentary makers Farjad and Menu Gul were the judges. Documentary of Jamshoro University students has got the IST prize; second prize got the FCCU Studnets along with the CHONNA MANDI students, and the third prize got the documentary of Punjab University Students. Munu bhai was the chief guest. Syed noor, salman shahid were also there. They gave the awards to the students.
Shafqat Salamt Ali Khan and other students also performed in the award ceremony.
FCCU Annual Convocation
Lahore: December,2009. FCCU organized its 3rd annual convocation here on Sunday. Governor Punjab and the college mentor, Salman Taseer, awarded degrees to the students.
The convocation was held in the historical monument, The Sinclair Hall, in the premises of the Forman Christian College (A Charted University). Salman Taseer, the mentor of the college, distributed degrees and medals among 130 students, who completed their Baccalaureate and Masters degrees, from the college. Former Speaker National Assembly, Mr. Mian Muhammad Soomro, was also invited in the ceremony.The Vice Rector, Dr. C. J. Dubash, gave the inaugural speech and the Rector of the College, Dr. Peter H. Armacost, presented the report of annual progress and future plans of the Institute. In their speech, Salman Taseer and Mian Muhammad Soomro, both the old Formanites, appreciated the college for its services to the Nation in the field of education. The mentor announced a cash prize of 25 thousand rupees each for eleven topers from different classes. The college Vice Principal, Dr. Christy Munir, Dean of the Students, Charyl Burk, and the senior faculty members were also present in the convocation. Dr. Armacost presented shields and bouquets to the guests. On the eve of convocation, there were fool proof security arrangements in and around the college.
